In winter, temperatures on Kneiff are lower, ranging from -5 to 5 degrees Celsius. Conditions can be varied, but snow is rather rare. In winter, it is worth paying attention to ice and choosing appropriate footwear.
How to get there?
The best way to get to Luxembourg is by plane, landing at Luxembourg-Findel Airport. Then, you have to get to Parkplatz Kneiff. This is the starting point of the trip, where you can use a car to get there by E421 and N7. The journey time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The estimated time to reach the summit is from 2 to 3 hours depending on the pace. Additional climbing equipment is not necessary, as the path is gentle enough for even a child to climb.

There is no mountain hut on the trail, but there are many accommodation options near the starting point in places such as Troisvierges or Wilwerwiltz. You can also consider staying in the capital of Luxembourg, from where you can easily reach Parkplatz Kneiff.
